Delicately sweet and spicy, it’s a blend of 5 Irish whiskeys: 40% dark grain, aged in virgin oak casks, 40% light grain, aged in ex-bourbon casks, 8% pot still, aged in ex-oloroso casks, 10% double malt, aged in ex-bourbon casks, and 2% peated malt, aged in ex-bourbon casks. Crafted without any added color or chill-filtration, this is a rich, complex but balanced expression that introduces you to the distinctive character of Irish whiskey. Bottled at a pleasant 86 proof, it’s best enjoyed neat but naturally, you can have savour it any way you like.

About Two Stacks
The rich tradition of Whiskey bottling and blending in Ireland, which dates back to the 1700s, has almost completely vanished in the past 150 years. Founded in 2020 by Shane McCarthy, Donal McLynn, and Liam Brogan, Two Stacks is at the forefront of Ireland’s whiskey revival in the 21st century, honoring this priceless tradition in a contemporary manner. The name comes from the towering twin chimney stacks at the old distillery in Dundalk. Bringing back this dying art, Two Stacks offers modern Irish flavors using time-honored distilling techniques. Their expressions are hand-crafted with each step of production – from sourcing, managing, blending, maturing, and finishing – taking place on the Irish soil.
About Irish Whiskey
Contrary to popular belief that Scots invented whisk(e)y, Irish whiskey was mentioned almost a century before its Scottish brother.
Its origin comes from the perfume distilling monks who decided to tweak the recipe a bit, creating Irish whiskey.
Irish whiskey doesn’t have a lot of rules and regulations to be considered “pure” and can be made with various grains and processes, as long as it is aged for at least three years in wooden casks and has a max ABV of 94.8%.
